Parker Hipp is Pre-Season All-American

   Las Cruces, NM- Senior shortstop Parker Hipp has been named to the 2013 Louisville Slugger Preseason All-American team. He is a third team selection.

Hipp hit .349 with 17 doubles and scored 51 runs. He led the Aggies with a .488 on base percentage as he helped lead them to a share of the WAC title and ultimately an NCAA Tournament bid. He will be converting from the teams second baseman to shortstop.

The New Mexico State baseball team gets started with the Alumni Game on Saturday, February 9, at 2:00 MT at Presley Askew Field.
